One very important piece of equipment for home owners are Step ladders. We all need a step stool or a step ladder, for example, to get something from a height. If you need to dust the top of the fridge, or reach up to a normal height, then a step stool will do. If you need a ladder for more reach, you need a folding step ladder, to dust the chandelier, for example. Platform ladders are used when you need to do some extended work from a height, like ceiling painting. Combination ladders are more versatile - it can be used as a step ladder, an extension ladder, and a stairway ladder.
